BIOGRAPHY
Ernest is a PhD student in the Department of Communication. His work explores the intersections of culture, power, and health communication in underprivileged settings. His research centers community voices, seeking to understand how health communication operates within post-colonial contexts—attending to the ways historical structures of power continue to shape health knowledge, access, and practice today. Grounded in a commitment to equity, Ernest's scholarship foregrounds the perspectives and lived experiences of communities that are too often spoken about rather than listened to, aiming to inform more just and contextually attuned approaches to health communication.
