Bio
Diogo Baerlocher is an Associate Professor of Economics at the University of South Florida, having earned his Ph.D. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2019. His research spans macroeconomic development, public economics, and political economy, with much of it set in Brazil and identified off historical episodes. His work has appeared in journals such as the Journal of Urban Economics, the Journal of Development Economics, Economic Theory, and Public Choice. Dr. Baerlocher teaches courses in macroeconomics and economic growth at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
