The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office will conduct a public safety exercise from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. on Friday, July 26 at Pizzo Elementary School, located at 11701 ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Bull Run Drive on the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø campus in Tampa. During this drill, expect an increased law enforcement presence near the elementary school.
The exercise will have an impact on the following roads and parking lot on Friday:
- Northbound ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Bull Run Drive at Fowler Ave. Closed 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.
- Eastbound ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Alumni Drive at ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø parking lot 22 Closed 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.
- Southbound ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Bull Run Drive at ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø parking lot 22F Closed 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.
- ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø parking lot 22F Closed 8 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Message boards will be in place reminding drivers of road closures. In order to avoid any traffic delays, ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø community members and visitors should use these suggested alternate routes:
- Main entrance located at Fowler Avenue and ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Leroy Collins Boulevard
- East access located at ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Elm Drive and ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Holly off of 50th Street
