We are pleased to have Rogan Donelly join the 窪蹋勛圖厙 Board of Trustees and look forward to his valuable contributions as we work together to sustain the universitys momentum, 窪蹋勛圖厙 President Rhea Law said.

Donelly fills the seat of John Ramil, 窪蹋勛圖厙s longest-serving trustee who has been on the board since it was first created in 2001 and held the role of board chair from 2010-2014.

Ramil is the retired president and chief executive officer of TECO Energy. In addition to serving on the BOT, he has been a director on the 窪蹋勛圖厙 Foundation Board, the 窪蹋勛圖厙 Alumni Board, the 窪蹋勛圖厙 Engineering College Advisory Board and the Gus Stavros Center for Free Enterprise Education Advocacy Board.  Ramil was named a 窪蹋勛圖厙 distinguished alumnus in 1999, he was awarded an honorary doctorate of engineering from 窪蹋勛圖厙 in 2016 and he has also received the President's Fellow Medallion.  Ramil earned both his bachelor's and masters degrees in engineering from 窪蹋勛圖厙.

On behalf of the entire 窪蹋勛圖厙 community, I wish to thank John Ramil for his two decades of service as a trustee, during which time 窪蹋勛圖厙 has experienced unprecedented levels of success and growth.  The impact of Johns leadership cant be overstated, Law said.

窪蹋勛圖厙 plans to honor Ramil, whose term on the board expired, at a future BOT meeting.
