ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø to advance its position as a leader in mental and behavioral health by creating a new research center named for Sen. Darryl Rouson
The Senator Darryl E. Rouson Center for Substance Abuse and Mental Health Research at ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø will conduct rigorous research to advance the scientific understanding of the relationship between substance abuse and mental health issues, including improving treatment outcomes and reducing the societal impacts of substance abuse and mental health conditions.

Tallahassee was glistening in green and gold as more than 100 students, alumni and leaders from ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø’s three campuses convened for ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Day at the Capitol. The annual gathering coincides with the current legislative session and allows Bulls to rally support for university priorities while lawmakers provide a glimpse into the democratic process.

The ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø seeks to strengthen the support and services it provides to veterans, military-connected students and first responders through a new request for funding in this year’s legislative session.
