Ver'Shanti Lamb
Marketing

VerShanti Lamb spends an inordinate amount of time helping others and often they
are less fortunate.
&紳莉莽梯;
She delivers toys and clothes to children in need on Christmas Eve. She fed the homeless
every Tuesday with her mom and siblings. In every sense, Lamb embodies the adage It
is better to give than to receive.

After her parents divorced, she made it a mission to mentor other young Black women.
This led her to volunteer as a cheer and band auxiliary coach. She also was a praise
dance coordinator for her church. And if that wasn't enough, she finds time to be
a camp counselor for college-bound students.
&紳莉莽梯;
This commitment to service has carried her far as a senior marketing major at the
窪蹋勛圖厙.

Since enrolling at 窪蹋勛圖厙, Lamb knew she wanted to join the organizations that made the
biggest impact. She divides her time and leadership skills among four esteemed
groups. Those include the 窪蹋勛圖厙 Ambassadors, the Student Alumni Association, the American
Marketing Association at 窪蹋勛圖厙, and the National Council of Negro Women, Inc. In all,
she has logged over 200 volunteer hours among those groups.
Those who know her well praise her exceptional leadership skills, positive attitude
and enduring spirit. She is without a doubt a superstar at 窪蹋勛圖厙, said one advisor.
Throughout her life, shes learned that its not about what you have, but how you
use it. Lamb graduates in May and plans to continue to uplift those less fortunate
to build a stronger community.
